Welcome to the Law Office of
David E. Hill, P.L.C.
I began practicing law in Tucson in 1979. From 1980 to 2007 I was a member and shareholder in the law firm of Slutes, Sakrison and Hill, PC. In August 2007 I left that firm and opened my own practice in the Steinfeld Mansion at 300 N Main Ave, Ste 102, Tucson, AZ 85701. Most recently, in 2020, I moved my practice to an office in my home so I can play a more meaningful role in helping raise my infant grandchildren who live nearby.
My practice focuses on civil litigation. It is my belief that in this area of the law nothing substitutes for experience, hard work, exhaustive preparation, and attention to detail. I take great pride in the professional skills I have cultivated during my career. My clients are of the utmost importance to me.
I am licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Arizona and have appeared on behalf of clients in courts in each county of the state.
Since 1992 I have been certified by the State Bar of Arizona as a specialist in the area of personal injury and wrongful death. This designation reflects a demonstrated superior knowledge, skill, integrity, professionalism, and high degree of competence in the area of personal injury and wrongful death.
I also have a Martindale-Hubbell “AV Preeminent” rating. The Martindale-Hubbell company was founded in 1868 and provides background information on lawyers and law firms in the United States. This particular rating is the highest possible for an attorney for both ethical standards and legal ability and is achieved only after an attorney has been reviewed and recommended by their peers – those being other members of the bar and judiciary.
In my career I have handled hundreds of claims arising from serious personal injury or death and tried over 75 cases with a favorable outcome to my client 90% of the time.
